I've recently heard this term.
And .... I was chasing for it by a long time.
Its main definition is .... the state or fact of lasting for only a limited period of time.
But ... of course we hate such a description.
Impermanence is a double-edged sword of a concept. The Buddha taught that nothing in the universe is essential – that everything that comes also goes, everything that lives must die, and everything that is created will crumble.
But ... we can't accept such a concept.
Most of the things we adore the most into this world ... we illusory believe that will last forever.
... love relationships .... too.
And ... we continue believing like this ... even if the passing of time allows us to experience one relationship .... and then
another one .... and another one ...
The funny thing is that ... we all the time believe that it will last ... a lifetime.
Unfortunately .... like all the other things into this world ... all is related to the ... impermanence.
And ... we hate it.
Even if many, many times ... we are the ones which do our best to take the story to the end.
The human being is conscious of the term .... impermanence ... but it's too difficult to accept it.
... especially when it happens in continuous form.
But ... my question is who the hell is generating ... the impermanence?!
I look at myself ... and I understand it is me the one who induced all.
Of course ... in continuous form.
And ... i just don't want to ... accept it.
I was together ... with a woman ... the creator of a beautiful relationship ... as into the end .... also together ... to destroy it.
... even if all was nice.
